Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here!

My name is Loralee Burns and I help people buy and sell country property in the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, BC.

Growing up on a small hobby farm in rural Maple Ridge, BC, I’ve always loved all the things a country lifestyle has to offer. And even though life has taken me to different places with many unique experiences … including living the caravan lifestyle with my family in New Zealand for a whole year … which, I’ll have to tell you about one day … there’s nothing like living on the Island! 
It almost seems like people aren’t in as much of a hurry here and time passes just a little bit slower...

I remember purchasing my very first home when I was 20 - I worked as a server back then and managed to buy a little townhouse. I renovated it on my own, decorated it and made it all trendy … and I’ve loved real estate and interior design ever since. In fact, my husband and I have since bought, renovated, and sold multiple properties and I have learned a lot about when it's best to swing the hammer myself ... and when to hire a professional!

Having moved from country to country and city to city multiple times - with family and animals in tow - I got to test my 'we can handle anything’ skills that I had learned as a social worker. I have learned a thing or two about the ins and outs of relocating personally and professionally and how to make the process as seamless as possible.
